Our farm offers a genuine farm-fresh experience, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the natural beauty and fragrance of our lavender fields. While here, you can witness how lavender is transformed into various products.

Shades of Lavender Farm is a free-to-visit farm destination in Mattawan, Michigan. Visitors are welcome during open hours to explore the farm, visit the farm shop, enjoy the outdoor areas, see the farm animals, and relax in the hammocks beneath the pine trees.

Lavender U-Pick
Lavender U-Pick is available during the 2026 lavender season for $10 per bundle. Availability is seasonal and may vary with weather, bloom conditions, and the progress of the season.
Visitor Information
- There is no cost to visit the farm.
- Farm animals are on the property.
- Hammocks are available beneath the pine trees.
- Dogs are welcome if they are leashed, well behaved, and cleaned up after by their owners.
What You May Find at the Farm
Depending on the season and schedule, you may find the farm shop, farm animals, hammocks, fresh lavender lemonade, lavender slushies, ice cream, sourdough baked goods, flowers, special events, live music, food trucks, classes, sauna and cold plunge experiences, and other seasonal offerings. Availability varies, and not every offering is available every day.

In May 2021, Anthony Tran and his daughters purchased Shades of Lavender with the aim of continuing its legacy. Open year round, we’d love for you – and your family – to visit, spend time with our family, and enjoy our farm’s quiet serenity.
