In May 2021, Anthony Tran purchased Shades of Lavender with his daughters. Aiming to continue its legacy, we’re open year round. We encourage you to visit and enjoy the quiet serenity of our lavender farm in Mattawan, Michigan. As you walk through the shaded tunnel of white pines that leads into our lavender fields, you’ll find yourself immersed in nature. Exit the path through our woods and you’ll be struck with the scent and beauty of the fields.

In the summer months, when it’s in bloom, we offer U-pick lavender. We hand harvest our lavender with a sickle and pack it into our copper still to make essential oil and hydrosol through steam distillation. Our on-site farm shop offers a variety of lavender bath and body products, candles, and wax melts for your home. We also produce our own hand-blended tea, artisanal honey, and a range of other unique items.
